broccoli sauteed in wine and garlic

This is one of those recipes that remind me that simple, everyday methods of cooking—such as sauteing fresh broccoli—really can be taken to the next level with the simple addition of orange and lemon zest. The citrus balances the heat from the crushed red pepper nicely (rather like the technique used with the fresh pasta with hot peppers and lemon). And the white wine adds yet another dimension.

Simple. Everyday. But golden.
